World Art Day 2019

ART has the power to TRANSFORM, to ILLUMINATE, to EDUCATE, INSPIRE and MOTIVATE'

World Art Day is an international celebration of the fine arts, which was declared by the International Association of Art (IAA/AIAP), a partner of UNESCO, to promote awareness of creative activity worldwide.

The first World Art Day was held on April 15th, 2012, a date chosen in honour of Italian Renaissance Master Leonardo da Vinci's birthday. As we celebrate WORLD ART DAY, we at Wendy School Junior College believe that creativity truly has no boundaries and is an expression of freedom, our teachers have managed to tap into the freedom and creativity of our students by involving them and creating beautiful images filled with bright colours that instantly brings joy and brightens up our day as we walk into the school. A Drawing and Painting Competition was organised in the campus. The topics were as follows:-

Grade 1 to 3: My Home

Grade 4 to 8: My Dream

Grade 9 to 12: Futuristic City 2050

Since 1986, Wendy School has built a very strong sense of identity.  It is the essence of being a ‘Wendy student’ that shapes our pupils    in their academic studies and personal development.
